Review: The Sony DCR DVD203 is an easy to use DVD camcorder. Excellent movie picture quality. The still pics are good also. The DVDs are 8cm and can be played on your DVD player - in case your wondering it's the smaller ring on the dvd loading tray! Which makes using this camcorer so convenient. It saves messing around with formats. DVD's are about £20 for 3 re-writable sony discs which is reasonable, you can also get cheaper non sony brands also. Movies/pics can be downloaded to PC, the connecting lead is included. Before you can play back on dvd you need to finalise the disc which takes a couple of mins, but again this is easy to do! The only thing you'd probably also need to buy (apart from blank discs, but you get one free with the camcorder) is a carry case. Overall it's a great camcorder, easy to use and does the basics well and worth buying. |
