Review: I've just bought this Sony DCR-HC19 camcorder and my first impressions are that it is fantastic! The camcorder is very light and compact yet feels sturdy as well. The touch screen makes it easy to access and use all the controls, and it is capable of adding special effects to your pictures and movies. It also comes with software for your PC, allowing you to download and edit your movies onto the PC, as well as being able to transfer your movies direct to a normal VHS tape. The only grumble I have so far is that the battery it comes with isn't huge - you get about 40-80 mins recording time using the LCD screen (although you do get a lot longer if you use the viewfinder) and additional batteries are quite expensive. overall, the Sony DCR-HC19 looks like a great camcorder, and definitely excellent value for money.
