Review: owned the Sony DCRHC35 Mini DV for 3 months. battery supplied is pretty poor. no dvi cable. pic quality improves on HI 8 but if you connect to HD ready/HD tv you can see limitations of the ccd.

If you want light compact and portable with acceptable pic quality, its ok. if you want better consider waiting for HD cameras to come down in price
