Review: I have been using this Sony Ericsson T630 mobile phone for 6 months now and have found it to be great in some ways and a pain in others. Firstly the good- it does look nice. I dont think it feels any cheaper than a Nokia. the screen is bright and very big for the phone size. buttons are close but big- i dont have a problem with them at all. it has a lot of good features (except see below). The size is just right- small but not too small. bluetooth works well- I got a bluetooth adapter for my computer new from ebay for about £10. storage of info is OK, I have plenty of songs and games on it but do need to delete texts after I get 30 odd. Now the bad- That DAMN joystick is a real pain. it often just wont work in a certain direction, I decide to send it back but 10 mins later its working fine, I think it must be dirt. If only I could remove the case and clean it out. Volume of ring is too low if you use a midi ringtone. Camera is pretty bad. It doesnt play MP3 ringtones. you can not send games to other peoples mobiles- i guess this is to force people to buy them - its just mean. Screen scratches quite easily- seems to be made of quite soft plastic- i guess its to stop it cracking if dropped. Overall it is a nice phone and wont dissapoint, but the joystick is a pain. |
