Review: I don't like the feel of this Sony Ericsson T630 mobile phone. It feels cheap, bad plastics, not robust enough, and the keys are so close together that I find myself hitting the wrong key time and time again when trying to text. The joystick is awful and very hard to use accurately. I can see it breaking off very easily. The screen however is good, great colours and easy to see in sunlight. The software seems acceptable enough and it is good that you can see who your text message is from, before you decide to open it. I originally bought this phone sim-free as I wanted a bluetooth phone for the car. I wish I had gone for the Motorola V600. I do not see this Sony T630 as being an adult phone - I believe it is more for the teenage market. All in all, I am going back to my year old Samsung which is a delight to use, even though it does not have bluetooth. The Samsung's metal casing is robust - hardly a scratch on it after all this time - and the signal strength is far superior to that of the Sony T630. I will be selling my Sony sim-free and buying the Motorola V600 at the earliest opportunity. |
