Review: ..but not all of it is up to scratch. The earphones are cheap, when i can afford to i'll probably get the fontopia or senheisser earphones, but whatever you do get rid of these ones. The software is very poorly designed, even the most technical of minds will be fiddling around for a good 10mins, longer if you're not sure or haven't read the manual. Very flashy software but we're not paying 120quid for that - They should of made it simple drop-drag-and click, but sadly it's not quite. However once you've finally found your way round it transferring to md is a breeze, and as its included will all net-md i'm not going to let that be a major downpoint in the purchase. Onto the good points: It's very small, stylish and great looking. The blue aluminium front adds more class to the default silver plastic you find on most players. The sound quality is superb, it's accoustic engine added life to my very old lp4 discs i couldn't imagine how well it will be on lp1/2 on a clean disc. But again the volume lets it down. The remote is well featured and of good quality but other extras like the charging cradle and AA battery holder and plastic and not as good as i thought they'd be but they do the job. Overall, the mini disc unit alone is worth the price, let down by the headphone volume but of course you can easily replace them and i'm sure you'll have a mini disc that will impress your friends. |
