Review: For years now I having been using a Portable CD Player, well finally I don't need a Briefcase to carry my music around in. This little piece of gadgetery is by far the most impressive thing I have come across in years. The software is incredibly simplistic and wonderful to use, whilst being stacked with functions. The MZ 10 itself is wonderfully easy to record onto using your PC etc. Songs will transfer in seconds to your minidisc, no fiddling with recording buttons, you simply connect the minidisc player the your PC with the USB connector and drag the songs from your screen to the minidisc symbol on the screen, and it will begin transfering them. As for the volume, I see that many of you have been complaining that its is rather sub-lime, may I suggest that you get some new headphones or failing that get some windows in your car, because I have recenty been away and spent a long time on the motorway, and not once did I need it at full volume and I like my music loud. Also if you still have issus with the sound levels then try and create your own presets like I did, you can easily add another 10-15% of the volume onto it, if you play about with it. The player itself is so light and wonderful to look at that I refuse to put it in the pouch :D Overall this is some exceptional music equipment, and for anyone who loves their music, you are really missing out if you don't make this a "Must Purchase" for yourself. Well done sony and Amazon on the incredible price, all the highstreet stores are at least £30-40 more :O |
