REASONS TO BUY

1. Elegant,true "Sony style" design

2. The smallest/lightest MD walkman I have owned, only the size of 3 stacked minidiscs!!

3. FANTASTIC remote control WHICH WILL WORK WITH ANY SONY WALKMAN with the same interface including other MD players/ CD walkmans/ the new HD3 & HD5 hard drive players....these alone are more than £80.00 direct from SONY !!!

4. Comes with a very elegant charging stand which looks great (almost a work of art..or am I getting carried away??)

Now, I could pick fies, but even if I had paid the original price of £300, I would probably accept that these are the inevitable compromise made for having such a stylish design, for example, the USB cable is dedicated to this player, unlike other Hi MD players which just use a standard USB lead which is convenient, BUT SONY HAVE DONE THIS TO KEEP IT TINY, also it is true that you cant easily recharge the device without the cradle, but hey, just bang it in the cradle every day (the battery life is good and would last even heavy users a couple of days or more) also the battery is removeable and cheap to buy, unlike other players. Dont compare this to other Hard drive or flash type solutions........it is just too different

In conclusion...I am delighted with this bargain, I have it siting in its cradle above my Minisystem connected to the line in, it looks fabulous, and with the remote has given me a lovely additional source of sounds. Also I love the fact that I can use the remote with my other SONY products, and they also all use the same Sony Software (clever !! what other manufacturer gives you that level of intercompatibility ?)

At this price it is a total bargain, any complaints are similar to a buying a porche car, then complaining that it doesnt have enough room in the back or that it only has 2 doors!!

in fact at this price I think I will buy another...quick
