Review: I waited for this Sony MZ-RH10 Hi-MD Walkman MiniDisc player to come out, and hoped sony would do the right thing and approach their users with the best player ever. I was initially using MZ-NH900 hi-MD player, the 1st generation one, and loved the idea and the concept, which sound amazing - 1 gig disc for 4£...after a while i discovered all its flaws, the Main one is SonicStage, which for my opinion is a very bad way of forcing you to upload songs to a device using a unique application. So i waited for this device to come out, which would support mp3 and would be the best. but when this device was released, and i had the opportunity of checking it out, i sold my MZ-NH900 and moved to IRiver. How come Sony force me to use DRM on my own recordings? Why do i have to use SonicStage to upload songs? Uploading songs to Hi-MH is 10X slower then USB2 HDD players. Why my mp3's have to get DRM around them? The concept is still amazing, and other companies could and should take it and make it a better product. Toshiba, Panasonic... |
