Review: My Sony RDR-GX3 DVD recorder's given a year of trouble-free recording.

Especially good at preserving old VHS and camcorder tapes, its video noise reduction controls have a remarkable resorative effect.

HSP mode (90 min) looks the same as HQ (60 min).
SP (120min) is noticably blocky, especially in 16/9.

Audio is Dolby Digital (256kbps).

Connections include RGB scart in/out and s-video in,
though you'll have to buy the GX7 if you want an iLink.

I'm most pleased with my purchase.
