Review: This Sony RDRGX210S dvd recorder is a superb machine. It is fitted with a very quiet fan, which only operates when the machine is playing/recording and, most importantly, keeps it cool for long sessions. Here are a couple of tips: - Use SCART lead(s) for connecting up to your TV (and VCR). These are not provided with the machine, but are available from Amazon as accessories. This will save a whole load of time and trouble and bits of wire all over the place. When re-recording old VCR tapes onto DVD, the recorder may stall if the VCR recording contains blank sections etc which sometimes occur at the beginning of a VCR recording. Keep your eye on this and only start the DVD recorder once the playback is perfect. This machine is excellent value for money - Excellent picture quality and compatibility. It will use both + and - discs. Overall, this Sony RDRGX210S dvd recorder is recommended. |
