Review: I saw Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for the Sony PlayStation 2 advertised and went straight out to the shop to get it, and I wasn't too disappointed. The game has great graphics and amazing gameplay, but I was not too happy about the length of the game - there are only 17 levels, which are pretty easy even on hard mode. Although the story is short, the game's durability is increased slighty by the unlockable two player missions and one player bonus missions. However, there are not many of these and they get repetitive. A good feature though is the two player vs mode where players can have one on one lightsabre duels, or player one can practice their lightsaber skills against a hand picked CPU opponent. There are also a wide range of selectable characters in vs mode - most of the opponents with lightsabres met in the story are in there, including two special characters... I managed to complete the story mode in about two days, but it is definitely a worthwhile buy if you're not on you're PS2 as much as me! Overall, the game is great, but I feel that Lucas Arts could have done more with the story mode, but the extras make up for it. |
