Review Summary: The Producers, "Butchered Edition" DVD

Review: "The Producers" is one of the greatest Comedies of all time, a true classic and essential viewing! BUT don't buy this DVD as it is not the original film! This was what I thought to be an essential purchase, unfortunately I should have just waited for it be shown on the TV or bought the older Video, that way I would have received the original film as I remember it! Why cut out portions of the film? Why have a scene from the original movie on the second disc and not in the film? This is not so much a "Special Edition" DVD but a "Butchered" one!
