Review: Believe me, if I can follow the instructions and assemble this Vax VS-18 Big Bubble vacuum in ten minutes, so can your six year old. Only strange thing was the instructions said there was a handle on the side of the extension tube, but there wasn't.
Emptying the 'jug' which contains the filter and all the gunk from your carpets is so easy - much easier than changing a bag.
It's also much much lighter than a Dyson and smaller, so easier to store. Really tremendous value.
Can't believe how much dust it sucked out of the bedroom carpet - yeach! Now a different colour!! In fact, it's so powerful, make sure you don't let it too close to that sock which is lying next to the laundry basket ... It sucks up the corners of rugs, as well.
However, it is noisy. If you're not on good terms with your neighbours, I'd use it when they're out. If you have a cleaner, perhaps consider buying her/him some ear muffs? (Kidding).
