Review: The canon ixus i zoom has an inbuilt excellent 5 megapixal ccd that will allow the user to enlarge their images up to a3 size in crystal clear quality. On the reverse side of the camera their is a crystal clear 1.8 inch lcd display which is ideal for viewing back the photos you have just taken. The unit has a 2.5x zoom and a 4x digital zoom which equates to around a total of a 10x zoom. The camera has 16 scene modes which allow the user to refine the shots they have taken. The scene modes include sports, cusine and underwater. The ixus i zoom also has built in editing functions such as red eye reduction. The camer is usb 2.0 compatible and comes with a very small 16mb sd card, i recomend you upgrade the card to at least 256mb to get the most out of your camera. In the box you get, the camera, a strap, a 16mb sd card, rechargable lithium battery, a power adaptor, an av cable, a docking station and a usb cable. The camera is extremely impressive with its light weight (120g) and very stylish design. The camera produces very impressive results both from stll imgages and movie clips with sound it can produce. The downside i can see is that the optical zoom is only 2x instead of the usual 3 which is now standard on most cameras. Ironic considering the name of the camera. if you can over look this small fault then i recommend this Canon Digital IXUS i zoom camera you will not be dissapointed |
