Review: I am new to digital cameras but I have to say the Ixus 60 is a work of art. It's small, easy to use and quite beautiful. Combined with the leather case it is a truly versatile and handsome bit of kit.
Oh and the pictures it takes are superb, so clear and sharp even when photos are taken at high speed. I have consigned our poor old minolta aps camera to the museum along with the Ricoh XRX SLR. Mind you they still have their place I suppose.
This Canon has blown my mind, it has a clear 2.5 inch screen, plenty of specialist modes for shooting under certain conditions or if you prefer AUTO mode which is a great coverall for lazy so-and-so's like me. The Zoom is good and provides enough for average family needs, plus if you want extreme close-ups it does that too and with really sharp results. Most impressed with this, can't let it out of my sight.
I highly recommend this camera, and was convinced initially by other reviews. I looked at a few options within this price range and the Canon IXUS 60 came out on top. |
