Review: Okay so I looked at a LOT of cameras when trying to decide which one to get, to name a few I looked at the kodak V550 and casio exilim models. Seriously I sadly spent hours trying to decide and I'm very happy with my choice.
Good points: The video is excellent and was amazed with sound quality as i recorded myself playing drums and there was no distortion!
Picture quality is excellent
You can pick out certain items to remain in colour whilst everything else is in black and white on the camera (a time and photoshop saving function)
You can video something then pick a frame on the pc to use as a photo
everything is excellent on this camera, I cannot be bothered naming them all in good points. Here are the bad points (these are very nit picking)
since there are so many functions it can take a while to get used to the controls and menus.
The battery indicator only comes up when you are about to run out of power.
To sum up, an excellent camera. but the free case that amazon are offering isnt, so get yourself a leather case so that beautiful screen isnt scratched. trust me you'll want to protect it. get one. I got a Sandisk ultra2 1GB card for about £20 and it writes at a speed of 60x (important for video enabled cameras) P.S I don't find the battery door on the Canon IXUS 60 being flimsy.
