Review Summary: Oh dear - a great camera for 13 mths, then it goes horribly

Review: I felt compelled to write this review as my Canon IXUS 75 has now broken after 13 mths. The flash doesn't synch with pics so all images not really close up are totally pitch black. I have been told to send it in for repair, but this is the SECOND Canon product that has broken on me in recent mths, both which had JUST passed their 12 mth warranty! So my conclusion is that whilst it has great features, should it really only be reliable for 13 mths? My Canon Pixma did the same, so perhaps best avoiding Canon for now?
