Review Summary: A False Economy Printer

Review: I bought this Canon Pixma iP1600 inkjet printer for my kids to use as a "cheap" everyday machine. Two months down the road and the ink has already run out and it costs more to buy the inks than a new printer. This is just plain ridiculous. In the past I've always used compatible cartridges which are NOT available for this machine. The print quality is fine for a budget printer otherwise it would only get 1 star.
