Review Summary: Perfect for home and small-office use

Review: Easy and quick to get running - the Canon Pixma iP4200 printer only takes about 5 minutes to set up fully. Once up and running it sits without need for maintenance unless you have to fill one of the two paper feeds (front cassette feed or the standard auto feeder).
The quality of the print is definitely worth getting this budget printer for even if you ignore the flawless auto-duplexing function and 200 page capacity. The print quality on this little machine isn't photo lab quality but it's getting close and is more than adequate for printing out your holiday pics. The text quality up close isn't as good as from a laser but it's up there.
The pict-bridge compliant USB port works fine and with Canon Digital cameras you get enhanced options without the need for a PC (Ixus 60 owner here).
In conclusion a good all-rounder with very little complaints here, the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is the price of ink and the lack of compatibles for it.
