Review: I bought this Canon Pixma iP4300printer for its combination of ratings , ink thrift and the auto duplex printing facility. It was a pain to set up ( took me two hours compared to 20 minutes with any other printer I have ever used or owned ) but once it got going delivered well until 10 months in exactly the same problems as one of your other reviewers with printer inks not being recognised. I need reliablity - My two Epsons never went wrong in four and eight years respectively . The quality of photo print is questionable and from a green point of view whilst it will duplex print on recycled paper this is totally offset by the outrageous non recyclable ink cartridge packaging. I am now forced to buy another machine because nothing can solve the printer ink switching off.
