Review: Tempted by a Canon cashback deal, I decided to go for the Canon PowerShot A640. I have a Canon 300D SLR and have found that the A640 produces superior images to that, although it can't match the flexibility of being able to choose from a selection of lenses.The LCD screen is moveable which allows you to go for some of the more difficult/unusual shots. It is very easy to use, focuses accurately, and feels solid when handled. The battery life of its 4 AA cells is exceptional. I opted for a Lowepro D-Res 10 compact camera pouch and can recommend this 100%. If you need a camera that you can rely upon to produces high quality photos, but don't want a big SLR, then this could be for you.
