Review: Like many other reviewers I brought this Cello DR810 DVD Recorder. I found the machine easy to set up and use (and didn't need to press the P/I button at all) but when I used this machine to record then its problems started to show. The machine would seem to record okay and, when you went to the edit screen everything would be fine, but should you eject the disc and then reinsert it at a later date, or switch the machine to standby and then back off standby at a later date then the machine would claim that the disc was blank. Tried it with a variety of DVD+RW and DVD+R and had the same problem so took the machine back and exchanged it for another only to encounter exactly the same problem. My advice is don't touch this DVD Recorder with a barge pole and instead maybe look at the Liteon range instead (I purchased the Liteon 5006 DVD Recorder and my review of it can be found on its Amazon listing). |
