Review: I've recently bought this Epson Stylus D78 printer, mainly for printing documents, but also pictures. So far it seems to have been a really good buy, cheap and the cartridges are inexpensive too, even better you can buy cheap alternative makes of cartridges. It comes with cartridges but no USB cable, I had one so that wasn't a problem. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The paper is really easy to load, which has been a problem with other printers. The quality of printing is excellent, and you can choose from 5 different qualities. The software is very easy to use also. Using 4 different cartidges may seem expensive but it works out quite cheap as the individual colour ones don't run out so fast.
My only criticisms are that it is very noisy, which I don't personally find a problem, but it is also very slow to print if using the standard quality. The reason I have only given it 4 stars is because of how slow it is, it took nearly ten minutes to print an 11 page document, which is unfortunate. The draft setting though prints very fast.
Overall very good printer, especially for families as its so easy to use, only a problem if you are in a rush. Good value for money. |
