Review: I've had my Epson Stylus Photo 1290S printer for about 18 months now and it has done me proud. Print quality is excellent on virtually all media types but I guess it's no surprise that the best results are obtained using genuine Epson papers and inks. That's a shame as neither of these Epson-branded items are particularly cheap, but I've used a couple of generic "supermarket" replacement cartridges and on the whole they've worked just fine.

It's a great printer that is truly flexible and opens up a lot of possibilities with its ability to print on so many paper sizes... if only the ongoing costs with Epson stuff was a bit cheaper!
