Review: We bought the E900 after much research and the deciding factor was image quality - all of the review sites showed sample pictures that were crystal clear. The reality is just as good - some of the natural light portraits of our daughter are just beautiful; pin-sharp, superbly exposed, natural colours and no noise. The only major complaint I have for the E900 is the lack of focus-assist lamp - I find it hard to understand why Fuji would ommit such an important feature, and no doubt it will lead to some out-of-focus shots in the future. Minor drawbacks are a screen that is okay but not brilliant, a menu system that could not be described as user-friendly, and looks that are pretty uninspired - it's well made but looks and feels a little bland. But all this should be forgiven, because those 9MP images are just superb. Buy a Fuji FinePix E900 and take the best photos you've ever taken. |
