Review: I'll keep this short, most other reviews reflect my views of the Garmin Streetpilot i3 sat nav anyway. It was cheap. Which magazine made it their best buy... and that was when this car sat nav system cost £175 It's small, pocketable and removeable, so avoids being stolen. Plus you can take it home to program routes. Very easy to read, switches to a turn by turn view if you want. REALLY Accurate... I mean watch the countdown turn in 1 mile... 200 yds.... 20ft... 10ft..and you are there..So no excuse for turning too late or too early. I admit first time out it took me down a road with a ford to cross... and sometimes you think is this small road REALLY quicker than sticking on the A road? But a bit of common sense works here. And if you stick to the main road it recalculates pretty quickly. It froze on me a week ago, and I ended up resetting it. Which lost ALL the points of interest. However it only took a few minutes to locate and upload all of them and more. For free !! OK the scroll wheel is a little time consuming... but how often do you want to enter more than 1 address at a time? And its preferable to loads of tiny little buttons. In summary.. why spend more when this little unit covers 90% of what you want it to do. But then I'm the guy who wants a mobile phone that makes and receives calls and rings when it wants your attention. No mp3 bluetooth game multimedia camera crap for me... just a device that does the job you ask of it, and does it well. Fully recommended if you can still find one.
