Review: The low price for this LG 26LC2R hdtv does not invite high expectations; however, the item is pleasantly capable, and a look at other retailers shows Amazon's price as well below the RRP.

The picture quality is excellent - SDTV is scaled very nicely, and it even managed to make the composite output from a Wii look good. Component input is excellent, and the main limitations are the presence of only one HDMI input, a next-to-useless printed manual and no 1080p support. The last, in particular, is not something one can complain about until the price at least doubles.

This LG 26LC2R is a great experience given the price, and well worth looking at for all but intense videophiles.
