Review: I bought this LG 32LC2D HD ready TV after much research, and am very happy with it. I havent got to grips with all the functions yet, as there are so many of them, but the picture in picture is great. You can view a small screen in one corner of the main picture, or have 'half and half', or a few other variations. The channels are a bit slow to change after pressing the button, but maybe this is true of all modern type TV's. With my old banger CRT telly, channel changing was almost instant, so this new one will take a bit of getting used to. The picture quality is excellent, and sound quality is all it should be. I have only one problem with this TV really, and that is, when on DTV (the TV has a built in digital tuner) the picture 'freezes' or 'jumps' - sometimes quite badly so that the programme is totally unwatchable. On some digital channels it rarely happens. I don't know whether this is a fault with the TV or with the transmitted digital signal. I have heard that the signal in my area (Granada) is not so good, and i know of others who live near me that have the same problem. I initially tried to buy this TV from Digital Direct, but i got a refund when the TV didn't turn up after many personal promises from them. Do not use that company. Altogether, i would recommend this LG 32LC2D TV |
