Review: I've had this LG 32LX2R HDTV a few weeks now. Although I'm yet to test out the TV aspect of it I have tried out using it as a PC Monitor, with a DVD player, XBox, Gamecube and PS2. Using this TV with a standard DVD player gives great results, a really nice picture that shows off darks while still keeping detail in the scene. Out of the 3 consoles I tested the PS2 was the only one which was slightly disappointing, it gave a muddy signal (this could because it's had a bit of a tough life, but can't say for sure) whereas Gamecube and Xbox provide nice sharp bright pictures with only slight distortion visible some of the time. The DVI in function of this TV is Amazing. It's a great quality monitor which can be used to browse the internet (it maps pixel-to-pixel so) the picture is VERY sharp, and since a PC upscales all videos to the TVs resolution (1360x768), video with a decent codec, or from a DVD look almost HD.
If you've been wanting a TV that hooks up to your pc so you can browse the internet from across the room, or play media you've got backed up to a hard disk so you don't have to change DVDs all the time. Or watch freeview upscaled to HD by a computer. Or haven't really understood what I've been saying but like things that are shiny and black, then this LG 32LX2R is the TV for you.
