Review: Thank you for those encouraging words. I am a bit of a sensitive soul! If I could show you examples of the DV5000 I would. I can only say that I took two videos at Lingfield Races of a jazz band and a steel band on a dull afternoon. The results are really good, nice and clear, natural colour and the sound was wonderful. I also took some stills of trees, blossom and a flower bed with every colour imaginable- all sharp and faithfully printed on glossy paper. The 'voice' recorder is also impressive. I used it to dictate, keep a memo and recorded the church choir rehearsing. The sound of voice, piano and organ were super. I tried the MP3 player. It works well but could do with a lot more volume. It would also be nice if the manufacturer had put a volume control knob somewhere. The only way to adjust volume is the menu on the little screen. This only matters if you are using it for MP3. I won't be. All I need now is the 256mb SDcard which should arrive tomorrow. After that the sky's the limit! |
