Review: I haven't used this item yet but I think it is worthy of note that the item was supplied with a set of software for Europe but I was unable to install it as you needed a product code to do so.
This information WAS NOT supplied in the advert or when the item arrived in the post. The product code had to be bought at a cost of £69 or 99. When I made the intial enquiry via the Navman web site I was told the product code was on the CD box, it was not. It took a series of phone calls from France to establish you could only get the code by buying it.
As I live in France and I needed the software for France and Germany the item was of little use with just UK maps.
I also found the the method of inputing info into the Navman 570, with a stylus/probe very irksome as accuracy was hit or miss not by me but the touch pad screen.
The manual may have the right information in it but there was no methodical order in its construction ie what order of doing things to get the unit working.
As I said I have yet to use the Navman I just hope its operation is better than its instructions!!!
