Review: This Navman PIN570 is my first GPS and chosen it because of the price and the PDA ability. I live in Central London and the GPS is OK, not great. (It takes the journey from Waterloo to Tower Bridge for it to locate the GPS, but once settle it is good, however tunnels are major problems for this GPS) I would like to have a full postcode search but roads are just as good. I used it to travel around the west country this week and prove to be very quick in locking GPS and get to my Travelodge everytime. However I could it is very hard to add a "via" point and it end up sending you to the middle of no where. You cannot choose the route, only one is availiable. Mine has also locked up several times, however when I am patient with it (do not change to 2D or other views while it is giving verbal directions, it doesn't like it and will punish you with a lock up).
Overall: Pros- 1.Price 2.Features of PDA Cons- 1.No Full Postcode 2.Can Lock up from time to time
I have not regretted getting it, definitely a better choice over the similar priced Garmin I3 |
