Review: I bought my Navman from a company called MNC (My New Cheap - also avoid - awful customer service). I returned it as it I believed it to be faulty (freezing when toggling to different map views but sometimes for no reason at all), but the second one was even worse. Aside from the (major) crashing problem, which means you often have to reboot the thing mid-journey and go through the license acceptance, screen alignment process and user tutorial before waiting up to 5 minutes to get a GPRS signal before you can proceed, this model has a variety of other drawbacks. 1) Stylus method of entering destination not very user friendly, cannot be easily done as you drive. 2) Very slow to get signal. 3) Only works with first 4 digits of postcode (sometimes you end up in a field 10 miles from your actual destination). |
