Review: I bought this Palson Techno Duo induction plate to save on my electric bill.

The 2 hobs each have a fan which are not quiet.

The instruction manual is minimal and doesn't list the error codes (the company may update it).

I've had error E05 happen 4 times in 3 months on the hotter RHS unit. Which is a nuisance when both hobs are in use as the machine turns off and the timer setting is gone. To reset requires switching the unit off at the mains and then switching it back on. E05 means the electrics have over heated and it seems to happen when food is just starting to burn in the pan.

I find the LHS at 80 degrees is OK for simmering but for the RHS it seems not hot enough and 100 degrees is too hot. There isn't a 90 degree option. (Power at 1 or 2 is OK though).

The manual doesn't make it clear that the hob is controlled by the power setting or the temperature setting - depending on which button you last touched.

The timer function only comes into operation if it is used.

The RHS heats up very fast when set to 10, much faster than an old style electric hob.

Obviously the unit very easy to clean - the glass top maybe better than plastic ones on some other products. It may save on electric. It takes a while getting used to using the controls - and the actual temperatures.

I find it fussy to use, however I am still a beginner.

Overall I am happy with it.
