Review: When I bought this Panasonic NV DS38 Mini DV camcorder, I didn't realise how good a piece of kit it actually is, but then it is Panasonic. The reviewer who took his to Glastonbury knows his stuff and I could not add any more praise other than even a complete novice like me can produce a very slick and professional looking piece of footage. The features, functions and modes are not evident and take trial and error, and a bit of manual reference, but after a short relationship you understand the menu arrangement and you start to gel as one. My only gripes would be the battery life, which is solved with a bigger amperage battery, and the motor noise, which I found to be a bit too audible at times. |
