Review: OK .. so I was going to buy a Phillips ambi light thing .. and took along some video shot on my Canon XL H1 HD camcorder ... to play back through the component RGB inputs on the set. The Samsung just caught my eye .. playing back from the Samsung Blue Ray DVD player .. a Disney cartoon Ice Age type thing .. looked absolutely breathtakingly clear and sharp and colourful. SO .. please can I plug in my camcorder? Yes says the kind salesman .. WOW said I when I saw the results .. just simply wonderful ... and the same test on my original choice .. awful by comparison ... so I'm raiding the piggybank now ... I'm impressed also by the upscaling quality .. standard definition looked really good at normal viewing distance too!
