Review: The Samsung VP-D31 is a great looking compact camcorder but I do have a few gripes.
The instruction booklet is as usual on modern products written it seems by people who have not handled the product. So one of the first things you have to do is put the lithium batteries in.
No problem with the remote control. However the camera battery cover is impossible to remove? without breaking the tags that secure it by the locking mechanism which you press with a fine object like a ballpoint while trying to SUCK the cover vertically away from the body. I suggest customers buying this camera get the shop staff to try to load the battery for you.
You may in the futre be able to recognise owners from a distance by the adhesive tape holding the said cover in place!!!
