Review: I ordered a military tie from Smalls Army Stores, Bolton for the regiment my Father served in as a thank you.
When the tie failed to appear i contacted Smalls Army Stores and was told that it had been posted and must have been lost. I took the initial reaction of Smalls Army Stores: 'so what' as naivety and explained that it really was down to them to ensure that the goods that i had paid for would be supplied. After more time passed and still no sign of the tie, it soon became apparent from the telephone calls that the company was no stranger to fobbing off complaints. I resorted to my Local Trading Standards office.. and they are too have been fobbed off by Smalls Army Stores of Bolton. Trading standards are now adivising me that the only route is the Small Claims Court. the amount is low - only £20 and I just wonder how many more people there are out there who have fallen victim to this shark. Avoid. (PS they are also trading as online shaver supplier www.shavercentre.co.uk) |
