| Review Summary: EPG is a step backwards from old Sony TV's |

Review: The Sony Bravia is a great TV with a very clear display and (for an LCD) good contrast. However the EPG let its down.
I have a 2 year old Sony freeview CRT television and a very old Tomson set top box, and the EPG shows both the program times and details of the program highlighted on the same screen. Pressing the ok key on the remote control then tunes into that program.
On the new Bravia you get the program times, BUT you don't get the details on the same screen as you do on the old Sony. You have to hit the ok button on the remote before you get the details of the program. If you want the details of more that one channels you have to keep going back to the EPG, selecting the program and hitting ok to get the details. It just appears a step backwards to me.
It's not the end of the world, but just an annoyance if you wish to browse details of the programs on the different channels.
Overall it's a good TV, but if you can look at the EPG and compare with different televisions.
