Review: I have to agree with all the positive comments about this fantastic 26" Sony Bravia KDL26S2030 TV. I have no reservations about it at all exept that it is a whole new concept and takes a bit of getting used to. I have only watched conventional cathode ray tube TVs in the past and they produce a totally different kind image to that of LCDs. Somehow, the LCD image appears flatter, more two dimentional, with poorly rendered skin tones. This is sharply demonstrated with American import shows where the 'lobster effect' of the skin tones is quite noticeable. I'm sure that with time I'll get used to it, but at the moment, I'm constantly fiddling with the many permutations for colour, contrast, brighness etc. in order to make the image look like the 'old days' |
