Review: Brilliant machine. I purchased this Sony ICF-C115 Cube recently as my old one packed up, and I am very happy with it. This DAB radio looks modern, and stylish. All the buttons are easily found, and very easy to use. The large and bright green clock is very clear and easy to see at night. Setting up the clock is easy, and for those of you who are fussy, you can even set it to the exact second. There are two independent alarms, one for buzzer, and one for the radio, although I much prefer the radio to the loud beep beep of the buzzer. I'm a tad disappointed there aren't 'two' radio alarms, on this you can only choose radio, buzzer, or both but that's not a problem as you can set them for different times anyway. Oh, and there's a BIG snooze button right at the front for those extra minutes in the morning. The reception from the radio is as good as you can expect from Sony, very clear and without any crackling. Quite loud too for a clock radio. Great value for money, very stylish, and funky. |
