Review: All in all, this sat nav is a very decent piece of kit. The only issue I have, is with the traffic info. It is very slow when tuning in to the radio frequencies to recieve the information. In some cases it can be too late. You can hit the congestion before the areial tunes in.

I frequently use the itinerary planning section of the device. Using waypoints. You can browse the map and all your waypoints are numbered, enabling you to optimise the order of each waypoint, thus insuring you take the quickest/shortest route. Absoloutly essential in my line of work. Don't know however I did without one. I used to have a Pakard Bell model that actually optimised the order of each waypoint automatically (the device assembled it's own order). However, the device didn't have a 7 digit postcode search, only a 5 digit. For example, RG6 4 a list of all the roads for that postcode would appear and I would choose one and a number. This wasn't good if I was looking for a house name on a certain road. With the TomTom 510 you can enter the full postcode eg. RG64 6AE and this would take you to the actual house if it had a name instead of a number. Each house that is named rather than numbered has it's own unique 6/7 digit postcode. Wheras, a road with numerous numbers frequently comes under the same 6/7 digit postcode. Again, crucial in my work. GPS satellite navagation is my favourite gadget invention of all time. Ahead of the TV, Radio, Telephone and internet (broadband). Every vehicle old or new should have one installed as standard within the next 5 to 10 years.
