Review: Afer reading some of the Tom Tom Go 510 car sat nav reviews on here, there seemed to be a few recurring themes regarding problems with the unit. However, I purchased it a month ago on a special offer and have had none of the problems mentioned elsewhere with my sat nav system - either I'm lucky or Tom tom have made a few essential tweaks since its first release based on the negative feedback it has received.
It connects to pc no problems and downloads and installs updates without a glitch. The in-car mounting takes a little bit of getting used to but I wouldn't say this is a flaw - just a somewhat odd system of operation! All-in-all it has served me well in my travels and I cannot find fault with the 510.
