Review Summary: My replacement gave up after a week

Review: Out the box and into the car, the Tom Tom Go 710 Europe sat nav worked immediately. Plugged into my desktop for the updates and after updating, following all instructions the screen went blank but stayed illuminated. It was impossible to turn it off or turn it on. I sent it back to Amazon who very promptly replaced it with another. This worked as the first but this time at the second attempt to download updates after a week of use it died in exactly the same way. Never again.
