Review: After much consideration I decided to purchase a Tom Tom Go 910 Worldwide. The decision was made over other GPS systems due to the TomTom's iPod and Bluetooth functionality. Found a brand new unit on eBay and paid £250.00 ( 'digigood' was the eBay seller and the service was excellent ).

The initial setup was really easy! However as several reviews have said - BEWARE OF INSTALLING THE UPDATES!! After installing updates I ended up getting the "splash screen freeze" error - freezes on picture of TomTom after switching on. After much searching for a paperclip ( they should supply one - you're going to need it! ) I reset and then spent many hours trying to get it working again ( support line was closed ). The following morning spoke to support ( who I must say were very very helpful ) and they forwarded instructions on how to fix the problem. BE WARNED - I work in the IT technical industry and you need to understand PC functions ( copying folders, formatting etc ) if you're going to get through the problem. Ended up copying all the folders onto my harddrive, formatting the TomTom's HD and re-installing just four of the original folders before running the updates via TomTomHOME again.

After all that the unit is now working perfectly!

The good - fast screen response, good display, fairly-easy menu system, Bluetooth integration with the right phone is very good

The bad - suction mounting ( think it needs Viagra after a few days! ), the above updating problem, poor Bluetooth phone support ( limited models that it works with - check www.tomtom.com/phones ). Bluetooth phone conversations can not be outputted via external speakers ( iPod and instructions can ) - BIG SHAME!

Now lived with the unit for nearly a week and compared with other systems I looked at would recommend ( but consider the above problems! ).
