Review Summary: Good Until connected to the computer

Review: I bought the Tom Tom one Europe sat nav system and started to use it...really good.
Then i connected to the tom Tom shop to download another map. Once I tried to download it the unit packed up! The internal maps were erased and the unit useless. Ihave been in E mail contact with the Tom Tom people since 29th May. They are very reluctant to engage in dialogue (the answer from them has little or no relation to my questions and requests for help eg me"I used a Jessops SD card to download the map(the unit does not come with a SD card)" Tom Tom "Return the Tom Tom SD card for repair"

Advice. Buy the unit but do under any circumstances link it to your computer as any problems so called seem to be incomprehensible (11 E mails later) to Tom Tom.

Very Very frustrating having spent £180 plus the cost of a US download map £65.....Ouch!!! Be Warned. I will update this if they come through. I'm just an ordinary guy who would like a sat nav for trips.
