Review: I got my new TomTom ONE v3 sat nav yesterday (1 day late due to postal back log) and so far have been extremely impressed with it. It is compact and yet clear to view. The verbal instructions give lots of warning of turns but with roads having a hairpin bend it has given the command "turn left/right" rather than "Bear left/right". What is uncanny is the way it can recalculate your route if you decide to go a different way. It even amazed my cynical wife! Another problem with the TomTom occurred quite near to my house. It tried to send me down a street that was blocked off a few years ago. I simply told the sat nav that the road was blocked in both directions. Problem solved! It now sends me the correct way out of my estate.
